Slag, that waste from MSW energy recovery plants that no longer burn, is rich in materials and substances that, if properly treated, can become valuable resources
Slag arrives daily at our plant in large trucks that are carefully weighed and emptied in the reception areas.

Before they can be treated, the slag is left to settle for a period of 30 days to stabilize, lose their moisture and acquire the optimum consistency for subsequent treatment.

Our plant is designed to extract the maximum of recoverable materials from the slag. With well defined processes, top quality machinery and constant maintenance, we achieve an efficient process, with very high rates of recovery of materials, and with the lowest possible energy cost, always supported by the installation of solar photovoltaic collection installed on our roof, which provides us with part of the energy we need, our company has the PV system that partially supplies the energy needs of the activity, the rest of the energy consumed is green and renewable.

The resulting material, the net slag (or earth), will serve as a suitable material for filling degraded extractive areas, as a base material in civil works (highways, roads and land leveling), and as a substitute material for aggregates in the manufacture of cement and concrete.

Essentially ferrous and non-ferrous metals, but we also extract other minority materials that are highly valued in the industry, as well as any remaining unburned materials that, when extracted, can be used as fuel in energy recovery plants.

With our process we are able to give a longer life to the materials, especially to the ferrous and non-ferrous metals and above all to the obtained earths.

All of them close the circle of the circular economy by taking advantage of huge quantities of material that not so long ago were lost forever in landfills.
We know how to deal with slag.
